WAAY 31 is the ABC affiliate in Huntsville-Decatur-Florence, AL and is part of Allen Media Broadcasting. WAAY 31 is North Alabama's legacy station serving the region for almost 70-years. WAAY operates waaytv.com and airs This TV, ION, H&I and others from a transmitter at its Monte Sano Boulevard studios on top of Monte Sano Mountain, one of the most beautiful views in the area. WAAY 31 has been honored by the Alabama Broadcasters Association as Alabama's 2022 Station of the Year. WAAY 31 is home to the nation's largest privately owned radar network featuring three radars strategically placed from border to border across North Alabama.
