Founded in 1970, the Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies (SCS) offers a wide range of degree programs and applied learning experiences to a broad and inclusive community of students and professionals. SCS, now located in the heart of Washington, D.C., gives students the opportunity to make learning work with their busy lives: Full-time or part-time schedule options, supportive academic services, and educators who take a personal interest in student success. The School of Continuing Studies has fulfilled Georgetown University's mission of educational outreach and inclusivity by offering a wide range of educational options. Our School now offers more than 600 courses, undergraduate and graduate degrees, advanced professional certificates, customized education, special programs, and much more. SCS is proud to provide the knowledge, faculty, and resources for students, professionals, and life-long learners to improve themselves and improve the world.
