Zijin-Continental Gold's high-grade Buriticá Mine is located in the middle belt of the Cauca River in northwestern Colombia. It has an environmental license approved, since December 2016 , by the National Environmental Licensing Authority (ANLA), whose commercial gold production began in the second half of 2020. The Buriticá Mine is easily reached, after just over an hour and a half drive from Medellín, the second largest city in Colombia, on the paved Pan-American highway. It must be said that in Buriticá there is a particular combination of size, quality, direct metallurgy, excellent infrastructure and growth potential.
