SisterZ with Hope & Faith was established to Heal, Support, Encourage and Empower our Sisters and Mothers: 💥 Victimized by Human Trafficking 💥 Villainized by the Criminal System 💥 Ignored or Scorned by Society Human Trafficking, which includes Sex Trafficking, is the use of violence, manipulation, or coercion to obtain some type of labor or commercial sex act. The coercion can be subtle or overt, physical or psychological. Every year, millions are trafficked worldwide. Victims are kept in fear by threats of violence, danger to their families or other forms of manipulation. Our Founder, Dr. Kimberely Sanders was exposed to this depraved under-world through her years of volunteer work and treating victimized patients. Being moved to help these women, her journey involved years of research, various workshops and interviewing women imprisoned for the heinous acts they were forced into. She found that although organizations providing help existed, something was missing to prevent these women from returning to their painful, yet familiar lifestyle after incarceration. SisterZ is filling that gap by providing high-quality outreach, counseling, employment, housing and other basic needs. We provide the practical assistance and resources needed to help these women regain their rights, their dignity and re-build healthy lives. By continuing to partner with other organizations and law enforcement, we will create the impactful changes needed to abolish this modern-day slavery.
