Japan-America Society of the State of Washington

The mission of JASSW is to promote mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples of Japan and Washington State by providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and information. We are a membership organization of corporations, government and community groups, as well as interested individuals. "Connection through Education: Business, Culture, Schools" is our motto and focus to create events that help our members and friends meet and connect. Our Japan-In-the Schools program has reached over 60,000 elementary and secondary school students to introduce Japanese culture at the request of local teachers.
