We provide safe, cost-effective transportation for Illinois in ways that enhance the quality of life, promote economic prosperity, and demonstrate respect for the environment. At IDOT, we strongly believe in the importance of supporting the transportation industry's future. This industry includes the transportation workforce outside of IDOT, as well as IDOT employees. We cannot effectively do our jobs, if the industry is not equipped with the ready, willing, and able workforce that it needs.
