VanMars Drilling Ltd.

VanMars Drilling Ltd. is a privately owned drilling company based out of the Fraser Valley. The company president, Ross Holmes, P.Eng., has over a decade of experience coordinating and implementing geotechnical and environmental drilling programs throughout British Columbia. Mr. Holmes is a registered professional engineer in the province of British Columbia and has managed drilling projects for operating mines, mineral exploration, geotechnical hazard assessments, run-of-river hydroelectric, wind farms, highway infrastructure, bridges, soil and rock slope stabilization, dike design and construction, land development feasibility studies, municipal infrastructure, and various commercial and residential clients. Mr. Holmes is the internal project manager for all of VanMars large drilling projects. Mr. Lance Van Kessel, an owner and driller, has experience in the environmental and geotechnical drilling industry. Lance has worked as a full-time driller since he was 18 years old. In the past several years Lance also worked as the environmental coordinator for a large hydro-vac operation. Lance has extensive knowledge of drilling, and drilling equipment, as well as significant experience with numerous drilling methods including (auger, odex, mud rotary, sonic, etc.).
