Fondée en 2005 par Fréderic Krief, la société BERENICE était au départ un petit réseau de 5 boutiques disséminées dans les beaux quartiers parisiens. BERENICE était à l'époque essentiellement connue pour sa maille, notamment le fameux pull en cachemire avec des ailes dans le dos, qui va lui offrir une renommée internationale. Frederic Krief a choisi le nom de BERENICE car c'est un prénom qui véhicule une image intemporelle, à la fois classique et élégante. C'est aussi la déesse de la réussite qui porte la victoire. Quant aux ailes, elles symbolisent la liberté, la pureté. Myriam Seguy, épouse, muse, égérie et désormais directrice artistique a rejoint Fréderic Krief dans l'aventure. Myriam apporte ce petit plus féminin, un flair, une sensibilité.
