Apex Cardiology aims to provide the highest level of customer care, whilst maintaining a positive work environment. Our cardiologist, Dr Jacqui Huxley, is an experienced consultant veterinary cardiologist and we utilise advanced diagnostic equipment, enabling us to offer an exceptional level of care. We appreciate the trust vets afford us when referring a valued client, and keep you informed of the progress of the referral and report our findings quickly. From there, we either hand the case back to primary care, or continue with a collaborative approach between ourselves, the primary practice and the pet's family. We understand the emotional, financial and time commitment involved in bringing a pet to a referral hospital and caring for a pet with cardiac disease; and strive to ensure the experience is as positive as it can be. There is so much that can be done to help the pets of New Zealand, whether as an individual pet with heart disease, by sharing knowledge between vet professionals, or through industry's innovation.
