Ervia is a commercial semi-state company who is responsible for three companies; Aurora, Gas Networks Ireland and Irish Water, which specialise in dark fibre solutions, gas and water infrastructure and services. • Aurora Telecom is a carrier-neutral operator specialising in Dark Fibre services for customers seeking a future proof high bandwidth solution. Aurora is focused on the design and build of bespoke dedicated fibre network solutions. For further information; www.aurora.ie. • Gas Networks Ireland owns, operates, builds and maintains the natural gas network in Ireland and connects all customers to it. Their core purpose is to ensure that over 673,000 homes and businesses receive a safe, efficient and secure supply of natural gas, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. On 1st January 2014, Irish Water fully took over responsibility for public water and wastewater services from 31 Local Authorities and began the process of transforming the delivery of water services nationally to a single national public water utility. Irish Water is now responsible for: - Management and maintenance of all public national water and wastewater assets; - National water services investment and planning; - Managing public water capital investment projects; - Irish Water Customer Care and billing.
