Helicentre Liverpool Ltd is the leading provider of helicopter training services in the North West of the UK, we have been involved in aviation for over 16 years. We provide both PPL(H) & CPL (H) training as well as charter, surveying, helicopter sales and management, we currently operate from both Liverpool John Lennon International Airport and City Airport Manchester (Barton). Helicentre own Kingmoor Aviation (AOC No 2208). This allows us to provide commercial helicopter work including charter and aerial filming to the highest standard fully complying with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations. We operate a large fleet of piston and turbine helicopters, and with our professional helicopter pilots and experienced ground staff we can perform operations swiftly and to the highest standard. Our excellent fleet of modern helicopters provides a vast array of services, including: - Helicopter Chartering; whether you want to get somewhere quickly, or get somewhere in style, Helicentre Liverpool will have the ideal helicopter available for you, our fleet has aircraft capable of carrying upto 5 passengers at a time. - Helicopter Training; using our Robinson 22 & Robinson 44 helicopters, we can provide training including groundschool for the EASA PPL(H) & LAPL(H) licences. We can also provide flight training for the EASA CPL(H) licence. Once you have gained your licence, Helicentre can also provide the required training for you to add turbine engine helicopters to either your PPL(H) or CPL(H) using our H120 or H125 helicopters. - Aerial Filming, Photography & Inspection work; Helicentre and its fleet of helicopters are approved and experienced in providing services which give you the ultimate birds eye view to carry out any manner of work requiring an aerial prospective. Our current fleet of aircraft are: - Robinson R22 Beta - our mainstay training aircraft, carries 2 people, and has an operating range of approx 280 nautical miles - Robinson R44 Raven II - This is an excellent helicopter for all manner of aerial work, from training to charter work. The aircraft has a capacity of 1 pilot plus 3 passengers, and has an operating range of approx 304 nautical miles - Airbus H120 Colibri - The H120 is a very nice looking aircraft, and is part of our turbine engine fleet. The H120 can accommodate 4 people in addition to the pilot, and with an excellent luggage bay and range of 380 nautical miles, this aircraft is a very good choice for charter work - however the H120 is also exceptional at turbine training and all other aspects of aerial work. - Airbus H125 Squirrel - The H125 (AS350) is the largest in our fleet of helicopters, and it is also the busiest machine in regards to our charter work because the aircraft can carry 5 people in addition to the pilot and has an opertaing range of 600 nautical miles
