As the third-largest medical center in the St. Louis metropolitan area, Mercy Hospital South serves families in St. Louis county, St. Louis city, Jefferson County, Franklin County, Saint Francois county, Sainte Genevieve county and Washington county in Missouri, along with Monroe, Randolph and St. Clair counties in Illinois. We offer advanced medical treatment in a number of specialties, including acute rehabilitation, cardiology, women's services, oncology/cancer care, orthopedics, neurology, surgery and emergency medicine. Additionally, we offer wellness programs, support groups, and other health resources for the community. Mercy Hospital South is staffed by approximately 4,000 co-workers, 700 physicians and other medical professionals in private practice.
