It is the mission of Murfreesboro City Schools to assure academic and personal success for each child. Murfreesboro City Schools is a preschool through sixth grade school district with approximately 8,400 students. We have 12 unique schools with over 1,500 employees. We strive to meet the needs of the whole child through an engaging curriculum, stimulating skill building opportunities and community engagement. We aim to inspire through an environment of collaborative learning, professional interactions and specialized instruction.
