St Patrick's College, Strathfield

St Patrick's College, Strathfield is a Catholic school for boys in the Edmund Rice tradition from Years 5 to 12. It began with an enrolment of 39 boys in 1928 and today offers a quality education for over 1400 boys and young men, ordinarily aged from 10 to 18. The College seeks to educate men who are socially critical and spiritually aware, who develop self-discipline and who stand with the poor with empathy, compassion and empowerment. \\Our College is built on the legacy of the Christian Brothers, and we proudly continue in the tradition of Blessed Edmund Rice. To that end, we embrace the Edmund Rice Education Australia Charter and commit to imbuing in our students the four Touchstones of an Edmund Rice education – Liberating Education, Gospel Spirituality, Inclusive Community, and Justice and Solidarity.\\St. Patrick's College offers a comprehensive curriculum which gives particular emphasis to the needs of boys and culminates with the HSC offering academic and VET courses. Comprehensive learning support and counselling are offered to the boys. It carries a justified reputation for excellent academic results. It offers an extensive co-curricular programme of sport, performance, speaking and musical skills.\
