KoRo rethinks retail. Through bypassing trade levels, efficient processes and simply designed bulk packaging, the brand makes high-quality food available to everyone at fair prices. The range includes a wide variety of long-life, natural and processed foods as well as kitchen utensils and cooking accessories. KoRo's vision is to become Europe's leading supplier of food, drink and kitchenware and products by consistently implementing its five basic principles: high quality, short supply chains, bulk packaging, fair prices and transparency. Customers have a clear insight into KoRo‘s trade processes and decisions because of the company‘s transparency, which brings customers closer to producers and products. For this reason, product descriptions include comprehensive information on price trends, origin, ingredients and nutrients. The declared goal for the future is to vertically integrate all products as far as possible into the original source and thus create maximum transparency. KoRo wurde 2014 in Berlin gegründet und von Constantinos Calios und Piran Asci aufgebaut; seit 2020 ergänzt Florian Schwenkert die Geschäftsführung. KoRo beschäftigt inzwischen rund 300 Mitarbeitende. Die Produkte werden im eigenen Onlineshop unter www.koro.com sowie im stationären und Online-Handel verkauft.
