Friend of the Earth

Friend of the Earth was started in 2018 by the international NGO World Sustainability Organization and it represents conservation programs in over 40 countries and certification standards for sustainable products and services. When you choose a Friend of the Earth certified product or service, you know that it is produced by means of sustainable practices and that you are contributing to conservation and awareness initiatives worldwide. Friend of the Earth standards can potentially certify, by means of annual thrid-party audits carried out by qualified indipendent bodies, products from the following sectors: food, textiles, fashion, furniture, jewels, mining, tourism, sport, events, packaging and many others. The Friend of the Earth conservation and awareness projects aim at protecting endangeres species and habitats, such as wetlands, forests, parrots, frogs, elephants, butterflies, rhinos, giraffes, lemurs, snails and many others. The World Sustainability Organization has also developed Friend of the Sea, to carry out activities similar to Friend of the Earth in the marine world. The World Sustainability Foundation was recently created to manage Friend of the Earth and Friend of the Sea conservation and awareness activities.
