Copenhagen Merchants has been a commodity broker for more than four decades. The company primarily focuses on the international brokering of grain from the Baltic and the Black Sea region, while products such as rapeseed and feedstuffs are handled by Baltic Grain & Feed. Further, CM acts as one of the biggest international biomass traders of wood pellets and other biomass products, which is handled by CM Biomass Partners. We seek to provide our customers with turnkey solutions; i.e. solutions which minimize both the seller's and the buyer's risk. This means that in addition to operating as brokers in the free market, we provide assistance with tenders, intervention, inland and railway logistics, chartering and superintendence. Copenhagen Merchants is staffed by professionals with a broad range of competencies and experience. Our skilled employees have worked together for many years and have therefore built up extensive personal networks of international consumers, flour mills, maltsters, crushers and power plants as well as local and global trading companies.
