DMAC is an architectural firm. But more than that we are storytellers. From the epics that bring together a series of buildings into a collective experience of a master plan to the anecdote that weaves together the details of an entire building. We design everything that matters: from the words‒the brick, the mortar, the container; to the punctuation‒the remarkable moments that remind us of our humanity; to the spaces between the words that make an environment truly poignant. We know that each project is different, each project has a history‒a past, a present‒and we know, when crafting its future, we accept all of it. DMAC Architecture is a Chicago-based collaborative studio with over 24 years experience in architecture, interior design, master planning, furniture and product design. We specialize in Hospitality and Commercial architecture including hotels, casinos, clubs, restaurants, retail and spas. Our scope of work ranges from large-scale urban planning down to furnishings, kiosks and door knobs. Our work can be seen in the U.S. and abroad. We are nimble. We are experimental. We do the research. We find the stories. We challenge the expected. We meet deadlines and budgets. We deliver engaging experiences. Our clients and collaborators bring out the best in us.
