The Finance Sector Union of Australia exists to promote, improve and protect the working conditions and entitlements of its members, and is the voice of over 400,000 workers in the Australian Finance Sector. The FSU covers full-time, part-time and casual staff in banks, insurance companies, credit unions, finance companies, superannuation funds, brokers and financial planners. The FSU: -Represents members in workplace and industry wide negotiations with employers and employer organisation. -Represents members before the Australian industrial relations commission, state industrial tribunals and other court and tribunals on matters relevant to workplace issues. -Provides information to members about their employment and related rights and obligations -Lobbies State and Federal Government and other relevant bodies about matters of concern to members and their families in relation to employment. -Provides members and their families with access to a range of services on favourable terms.
