Sumitomo Chemical Europe is a subsidiary of Sumitomo Chemical Company (Japan) and was first established in 1994 in Belgium. In 2014 Sumitomo Chemical Europe was also nominated as the Regional Headquarter for Europe, whereby it functions as a coordinator between the different Sumitomo Chemical locations within Europe and the Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.
