Beyond IQ

Beyond IQ provides consultations for parents and schools to reverse underachievement. Underachievers have two main profiles: the "why should I bother" student, a student with a negative attitude toward school, quickly loses focus in class and hands in poorly done schoolwork. The second profile is the "better safe than sorry" student. A child who avoids challenging work at any cost feels anxious before tests and depends on the adult around to complete school work. Both of them give up quickly, believe their success is due to luck rather than effort, and don't deal well with competition. But underachievement depends on more than just the student himself. We must take a holistic view of the Learning Environment, the Student, and the Adults around them. In Beyond IQ, we perform identification for underachievement, find the reason for the child's underachievement, and create a practical plan that guides the parents and school to reverse it.
