The Central Danube Development Agency Nonprofit Ltd. (CDDA Nonprofit Ltd.) is a work organisation responsible for performing the operative tasks of the Central Danube Development Council. The agency was established on 4 August 2020 and its commercial court registration took place on 23 November 2020. The primary goals of CDDA Nonprofit Ltd. in addition to the performance of the work organisation tasks of the Central Danube Development Council are to provide information to the municipalities of the area, to strengthen business and cultural relations and to provide publicity about the developments and innovations in the area. "Supporting economic growth with as many means as possible, and, while taking into account the conditions and demands of the area, providing access to tender resources, ensuring the implementation of innovative projects and offering opportunities for operating enterprises to further development are extensive objectives of CDDA as well. Apart from that, utilizing the expanding infrastructural capacities in the longer term, maintaining the functions of the development results, and attracting new investment opportunities to the area are the long-term development goals." The tasks of CDDA Nonprofit Ltd. can be classified into three main categories: • performance of the CDDC work organisation and target tasks, • 2. involvement of additional resources for regional development, • 3. business activities. Along the above-mentioned tasks, the most important activities of CDDA Nonprofit Ltd. are: • spatial planning and coordination, • tender and project management, • support for local initiatives, project development, • implementation and management of international projects, • performance of business activities.
