Branan is an investment and advisory firm based in Moscow. We focus on the Russian market and work primarily in the energy, utilities and technology sectors. We offer a practical, result-oriented consulting approach which combined with our multidisciplinary capability, provides an effective response to the diverse, complex business issues facing clients; while our geographical focus on Russia provides in depth knowledge of the local business environment. Our service portfolio is organised into four practices: Investment – advisor and venture capital partner focussing on early-stage technology and clean energy companies. We work closely with technology companies to raise capital and develop their businesses, and with investors to identify and develop investment opportunities – inside and outside Russia. Strategy – Branan's original practice, with a focus on the power sector. Key services are corporate and business strategy, policy and regulation, investment strategy, growth, innovation and localisation. Operations – supports the execution of strategy by developing corporate governance systems, optimising organisation structures, improving business processes and introducing performance management systems. Legal – Branan Legal is a dedicated in-house legal team, providing services in the fields of corporate law and governance, corporate restructuring, M&A transactions, and venture capital/private equity.
