While maintaining its leading position in the African smartphone market, Transsion has been actively expanding into other global emerging markets. According to IDC's Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker, Transsion ranked No. 3 in the global mobile phone market in 2021 with a 12.4% market share, and ranked No. 6 in the global smartphone market with a 6.1% market share. Transsion's smartphone shipments ranked the top spot in Africa and Pakistan, No. 2 in Bangladesh, and No. 6 in India. Transsion's three mobile phone brands TECNO, itel, and Infinix ranked 6th, 21st and 25th respectively among the 2021 TOP 100 MOST ADMIRED BRANDS IN AFRICA, a ranking compiled by African Business (June 2021).
