Once upon a time in The Middle Ages, there was a little town called Randers. As time went by, Randers grew bigger and bigger. More and more companies focusing on innovation, know-how and environment came to the Municipality of Randers and the cities Aarhus and Aalborg close to Randers Municipality. The cultural life in Randers evolved and even today, is constantly on the move looking ahead to the future. Denmark's only river runs through the municipality and the city of Randers. The widespread nature provides numerous opportunities for sport activities and recreation. The old timber-framed houses, monuments and statues, churches and castles tell the story of a town going back to The Middle Ages. Randers Municipality is part of the welfairytale of Denmark. Denmark is a safe country which is founded on democratic values, basic rights and a welfare state with benefits.
