The company was founded in 1995 under the name IAS Praha, Indukce-zařízení-služby s.r.o. as Czech representation of the company IAS Induktions-Anlagen-Service GmbH, which specializes in the manufacture and distribution of technological equipment for industrial induction heating of materials before further technological processing. Since September 2015, the original company was renamed to ProKonEx s.r.o. and became a purely Czech company with a long tradition and strong business relationships in the Czech and international market, offering a comprehensive concept from draft in its own design office, through production to transport of the product to the customer. The company ProKonEx s.r.o. is a strategic partner of the multinational company SMS Group with direct business relationships with companies SMS Elotherm GmbH und IAS GmbH especially in the fields of construction and brokerage services for the preparation, implementation and ensuring technical and commercial activities.
