Haringey is a vibrant community of more than 250,000 residents, 600 acres of parks and open spaces, the iconic Alexandra Palace, quick transport links and high streets with a great range of shops and restaurants. London puts the most exciting employment market on our doorstep and a growing number of entrepreneurial businesses are taking root locally. Our schools are getting their best results and there is real pride in the communities that form our borough. But Haringey's potential is bigger and the council's job is to see it fulfilled. Our determination is to ensure that all Haringey's residents are able to make the most of the prospects the borough and London have to offer and we believe we have a better opportunity than ever to see this objective secured.
