CM Solutions Metallurgical Consultancy and Laboratories

CM Solutions has three aspects to its business. We provide consulting services to the metallurgical industry, we provide software solutions for the metallurgical industry and we provide training for metallurgical engineers. We employ nine engineers and support staff. Although we work across the whole of the metallurgical industry, all our work has one thing in common: our commitment to adding value to our clients by applying a rigorous scientific approach to the investigation of our client's challenges. Our services include optimization, capacity improvement, de-bottlenecking and process design (basic process design package). We develop software that drives our effectiveness in search for better solutions for our clients. An example of this is Cycad Process(R) www.cycadprocess.com. The package has design functionality and investigative solutions functionality. Our third area is in the field of training. We have presented courses on a range of metallurgical topics, such as leaching, electrowinning, and biohydrometallurgy. Our flagship course, "Finance for Engineers", has proved very popular with professionals across the engineering and experience spectrums. Our principal, Dr Frank Crundwell, is also the author of "Extractive Metallurgy of Nickel, Cobalt, and Platinum Group Metals".
