The IMPR was founded in 1948., in compliance with the decision made by the Government of the Republic of Serbia, with a mission to study medicinal plants and develop science in this area. Today it is a respected institution and a leader in the field, with valuable scientific results and a range of plant-based products intended for protection and human health promotion. The IMPR conducts its activities through the following three major units: 1. Research & development 2. Production, marketing and sale 3. Quality control. THE IMPR SCIENTIFIC AND RESEARCH ACTIVITIES are conducted through two departments: Department for R&D in MAP Agriculture and Department for R&D in MAP Pharmacy. Cooperation between the units and departments, correct relationships with business partners, application of superior scientific knowledge and skills in the achievement of the high quality of products and services, are the core of IMPR's development and the main elements on which its business success is based on. Quality Strategy is fulfilled by the implementation of ISO 9001:2008 and HACCP standards. Knowledge, skills, abilities, and great experience over decades are incorporated into the products of the IMPR, which are now synonyms for high quality, efficient and safe herbal products!
