There is a significant difference between an IT Security Director and a CISO. You need to understand what you are getting in your vCISO. *We are intentionally a small, boutique organization. Why this is important: We offer personal services, not a round-robin of resources to address your needs based on the provider's schedule. Additionally, we do one thing only, and we do it well. MSSPs that offer a laundry list of services are like general practitioners, they can offer general advice, but for specialized needs, they should refer you to a specialist. Why this is important: Generally, veterans have a different mindset than civilians, a can-do, team attitude to get the job done.
