Fused uses a MarkForged Mark Two 3D Printer to build aluminum-strength parts. These parts are stiff, strong, and extremely durable; their strength allows for substitution of traditionally machined aluminum parts! The precision of the Markforged process creates tolerances and surfaces finishes that rival injection molded parts. This enables engineers to build working prototypes or end-use products; generating massive value for their business. All you have to do is design the part, upload it to our software, and select the appropriate characteristics from our list. We'll do the rest. It's that easy! Fused uses a 3D printing process known as FDM, or Fused Deposition Modeling. This process builds up layers of melted material to produce prototypes and end-use parts. We are able to reinforce 3D prints with continuous carbon fiber, making composite prints as strong as their aluminum counterparts in a fraction of the time.
