The Shore and Country Club

"The club is a non profit private membership, family oriented social and recreational organization providing Dining, Tennis, Swimming and Boating. Its purpose is to create a sense of community by providing its members the highest quality services and facilities in a fiscally responsible manner." The Club is open seven days a week from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Dining facilities are in operation Wednesday-Sunday during the season and weekends on the off season. The club is closed January 1st – mid March. The offices are open year round. From March through New Year's Eve, there are numerous planned club events, both indoors and outdoors including Family Fun Nights, Dinner Dances, Holiday Events, Barbecues, and much more! The Shore and Country Club is established as a destination for hosting events such as weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, birthday parties, business meetings, retirement parties, or any other special occasion. The main clubhouse consists of a main ballroom dining area, dance floor, a less formal dining rooms for families, and an adult bar and grille. On nice days in the spring and fall, we offer dining on our front patio overlooking the Norwalk Harbor. The seasonal beach house includes a Snack Bar, Seaside Terrace Bar, and Quarterdeck, an open air dining room located just feet away from the waters of the Long Island Sound. The Beach House also includes adult and family locker rooms as well as walk-in beach storage lockers. Our 8.5 acre Club grounds are surrounded by water on three sides, and feature 10 Har-Tru tennis courts, an Olympic sized swimming pool with diving well, two beach areas, and a 99 slip Marina. We offer a variety of children's activities in the summer such as swim team, dive team, tennis, and Junior sailing.
