Established in 2004, Volkswagen Group Korea (VWGK) has four strong brands – Volkswagen, Audi, Lamborghini, and Bentley. By importing and selling a wide range of models that meet the various lifestyle and characteristics of the local customers, VWGK is contributing to the growth of Korea's imported vehicle market. in 2021, VWGK recorded an annual sales of 40,838 representing 14% of the total import market in Korea. Volkswagen Group is transforming the Group into a software-driven car company with its NEW AUTO strategy. In tandem with the Group's strategy, VWGK is focusing on further expanding its product and service portfolio by creating synergy between the Group and its brands and by pushing ahead with its electrification strategy. Also, VWGK is actively carrying out corporate social responsibility activities as a sustainable partner in Korea by focusing on education and the environment. Its major programs include a software coding education program (TOMOROAD School), environment projects to foster clean and safe educational surroundings for future talents (re-forestation and carbon neutrality projects, the Green School Walkway project, and the Classroom Forest project), educational exhibitions (goTOzero exhibition) and community outreach programs (Warm Winter Kit and Secret Santa).
