MacRobert Attorneys is a national law practice with offices in Pretoria, Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban, and is therefore in a position to provide legal services throughout the country. The firm has been in existence for more than 120 years, and has pride itself in providing excellent services to clients – hence its slogan "Your Strategic Partner at Law"​. Through its commitment to the transformation of its practice, MacRobert attorneys has had a 10 year relationship with Mahlangu Inc Attorneys which relationship has now resulted in a merger of these two firms into one firm, effective from 1 September 2015. MacRobert Attorneys has expanded its footprints by becoming the only member, in South Africa, of Meritas. Meritas is a global alliance of legal professionals and accordingly has access to a global network of international law practices and expertise. The lawyers employed by MacRobert Attorneys vary in experience – from newly admitted practitioners to senior practitioners with many years'​ experience. MacRobert Attorneys employ some 54 lawyers, 39 candidate attorneys and has a total staff compliment of 480. When undertaking instructions MacRobert Attorneys will meet with representatives of the client, gain a clear understanding of what is required and then plan the work on the basis of a program which will include clear time lines, outputs required, quality assurance steps and clear and timeously reporting mechanisms.
