The Western NSW Local Health District is one of the largest Local Health Districts in New South Wales covering an area similar to the size of Britain and including 23 Local Government Areas. We deliver health services to approximately 276,000 people residing in regional, rural and remote parts of the State. The Western NSW Local Health District is blessed with a highly skilled and dedicated workforce, committed to improving the health of our communities. Our workforce is as diverse as the services we provide and made up of both clinical and non-clinical staff, all of whom are highly valued for their role in helping the Local Health District deliver a high standard of health care.
