We are passionate about surfing. We've been soaking up this sport for years, promoting alternative and healthy lifestyles and now with the Barcelona Surf Festival (BSF), we've completely immersed ourselves in this exciting wave of counterculture. As William Finnegan said, "nobody is ready to leave surfing"​. The Barcelona surfing community is a group that authentically lives and experiences surfing to its fullest. Its appeal is not just as a sport, but also its culture - music, art, audiovisuals, news, fashion and more. While the Mediterranean may not have the most ideal conditions to practice the sport throughout the year, Barcelona does have a passionate community that enjoys and lives an authentic surfer life. In Barcelona, you'll find the largest surfing community in Spain and it's a community that is growing. More and more people are practicing this sport and are attracted by the values and culture related to the sport including respect for the environment, social consciousness and a healthy diet. For this reason, we believe that the time has come to offer Barcelona and its surf enthusiasts a unique festival that meets its needs to connect and learn. Using our 5 years of experience organizing the BSF we have put together a renewed and revitalised festival that reaches beyond the framework of a festival to offer an ample and exciting selection of activities...
