ECSA (Eyl Comercial S.A.) is the parent company of a third generation german family group of businesses, founded in 1952, well known for establishing long term business relationships, due to its reliability. ECSA's core business is the comercialization of pharmaceuticals (recognized as one of the major distributors in Honduras). The Pharmaceutical Commercial Division's coverage includes all pharmacy chains, independent pharmacies and the cooperative of independent pharmacies. ECSA also covers all major pharmaceutical wholesalers. The Institucional Commercial Division's coverage includes both the private market (hospitals, clinics, etc) and the public market (public hospitals, social security hospital, etc). ECSA's is also well known for its capability to transparently participate with great success in all of the Governments and Social Security Institute's tenders for the adquisition of pharmaceuticals. ECSA also has experience participating with tenders through COMISCA (Consejo de Ministros de Salud de Centroamérica), which is a counsel formed by all of the health ministers in Central America that bid the same pharmaceuticals simultaneously in order to obtain lower prices for each country in the region. Since 2010, ECSA has extended its distribution capabilities by developing a Consumer Goods Commercial Division, that today covers all supermarkets chains, independent supermarkets and convenience stores in our territory. ECSA has also broaden its pharmaceutical spectrum by offering its providers with complementary services that include a Promotional Division of medical representatives, medical samples and POP material management, expired medications management and destruction and, accounting and payroll services. ECSA complies with the industry's best practices for storage and distribution, has approved our providers quality assurance audits and gives pharmacovigilance feedback.
