Bringing immigrant families together is a passion that Kate lives out both in her professional and personal lives. Outside of her advocacy for her clients, Kate serves the immigrant community through her advocacy for pro bono work, service as Mayor Adler's Commissioner on Immigrant Affairs for the City of Austin (on behalf of the American Immigration Lawyers Association Texas Chapter) and through her service as Chair of the Board of Directors of VECINA.
