Columbia University Formula Racing

We are a group of highly motivated students who design, build, and drive a high-performance racecar for Columbia University. The breadth of the project – the design, construction, and financing of the car – provides students with an introduction to all aspects of project management, design for manufacturing, and systems integration. By applying theoretical principles to year-long real-world project, team members develop communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Our students are the best and brightest that the university has to offer and go on to work at top companies such as SpaceX, General Motors, Toyota, and Tesla Motors. Keep up with us on social media!
