WiBand Communications was acquired by Xplornet Communications Inc. in October 2020. The WiBand team, network and branch offices are now managed by Xplornet Enterprise Solutions. WIBAND'S HISTORY WiBand Communications Corp. was founded Winnipeg, MB in 1998 as a proudly family-owned company, and was one of the first wireless broadband providers in Canada.
