CCHAT-Children's Choice for Hearing and Talking

CCHAT-Sacramento is an auditory/oral school for children who are deaf or hard of hearing. Our children use hearing aids and cochlear implants to listen and develop spoken language. Children from birth through age eight are enrolled with the goal of becoming competent in oral communication to achieve successful mainstreaming in their neighborhood schools, often by kindergarten or first grade. CCHAT also provides education, support and encouragement for parents and families of the children we serve.
