Connecticut Young Republicans

The Connecticut Young Republicans (CTYR) is a volunteer group focusing on participation in the political process. CTYR provides an opportunity for young people interested in government, politics, and political policy to learn about themselves as voters and involve themselves as citizens who communicate the concerns of our generation to our legislators and political leaders. Participation in CTYR allows members to develop political knowledge and skill and to engage in today's debates with today's leaders, and the leaders of tomorrow. Some typical CTYR events include meet and greets with candidates, speaker forums, working on campaigns, registering new republicans, monthly social events, and community outreach.
