We believe that the smartest way to synthesize advanced materials isn't the most elaborate, but the simplest. That is why SDS is focused on using technology that synthesizes materials the same way nature often does, from aqueous solutions. Why use rare expensive materials, hazardous solvents, lasers, or high energy plasma when safe, common chemicals and hot water can produce materials with similar or better performance.
