As the nation's premier provider of tertiary education, UCCI is the first institution in the Cayman Islands to obtain accreditation from ASIC (Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges, and Universities. It was also the first to be granted membership and accreditation candidacy status by IACBE (International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education. UCCI offers a plethora of programs in the Associate, Bachelor, and Master's levels, as well as Professional Education and Workforce Training. Dedicated full-time faculty, flexible schedules, and relatively small class sizes foster a tight-knit community that enables interactive learning. UCCI's international partnerships provide study abroad experiences and distance learning opportunities in the US, UK, Germany, Austria, Canada, the Caribbean and Central America. UCCI continues to blaze new trails for higher education and inspires its students to reach for the stars. Beginning with the establishment of the Dr. Wm. Hrudey Observatory, UCCI is a developing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) center in the Caribbean. Some of its initiatives include STEM Carib, an annual conference which has attracted notable scientists and leaders in various STEM fields. UCCI's Robotics and Drone Racing Clubs are also steadily gaining popularity among students.
