The Official Charts Company are guardians of the UK's Official Charts for music and video – including the Official Chart Top 40 unveiled every week on BBC Radio 1. A joint venture between record labels' trade body the BPI and the Entertainment Retailers Association, the company is responsible for managing, commissioning, marketing, distributing and licensing the UK's official music and video charts.
