Today, NVA Canada is privileged to have community locations in 9 provinces and one territory from coast-to-coast. Globally, the NVA community tops 1400 veterinary hospitals and pet resorts in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. Over 20,000 veterinary professionals work to improve the well-being of patients by providing progressive and compassionate veterinary care. Since the first hospital joined NVA in 1997, founding veterinarian Dr. Stanley Creighton has emphasized support for the local medical standards established by individual doctors and practices. He has always believed that when veterinarians craft strategies specific to their own hospitals and communities, high quality patient care and client services follow. This vision for local empowerment and servant leadership continues at NVA Canada today. We are partners in possibility, making new professional tools and resources available to hospitals, supporting with recruiting, administration and management, and caring for caregivers so the Canadian community can continue to grow and thrive.
