Automedia is a well-established and family-run business that has been based in Loughborough for over 30 years. As part of our continued efforts to increase efficiency, quality of work and speed of production, we have recently invested in a Heidelberg Speed Master 74. This state-of-the-art machine is supported by computer-to-plate technology, a cutting-edge studio, two-colour Heidelberg and the latest Horizon Stitch Liner. To offer you some context into the scale of production offered by these machines, the press runs at 60,000 sheets per hour and the stitch liner at 5000 per hour. This high quality equipment is complemented by a combined printing experience of over 150 years, and allows Automedia to run like a well-oiled machine. As a firm we are always looking for ways to help reduce our carbon footprint, and investing in the latest in environmentally friendly technologies. To this end, we have recently been FSC certified and have also been recognised as users of ‘green' electricity.
