James Hutton Limited is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the James Hutton Institute, formed in April 2015 through a merger of Mylnefield Research Services Ltd and Macaulay Scientific Consulting Ltd. The remit of James Hutton Limited is to facilitate the delivery of the Mission and the attainment of the Vision of the James Hutton Institute. James Hutton Limited achieves this through generating profitable income from the exploitation of the scientific expertise, intellectual property, facilities and resources of the James Hutton Institute. James Hutton Limited can offer commercial customers a comprehensive range of analytical, research, plant breeding and consultancy services.
