Leicester Riders Foundation

The Riders Foundation was established in 2015 as a charitable trust, providing over 20,000 participants a year with a basketball experience. As part of the Riders Foundation's commitment to the community of Leicester City and Leicestershire, the Leicester Sports Arena was erected in January 2016 to provide a home for the Leicester Riders professional Mens, Womens and Junior teams, as well as the surrounding communities. Growing the sport of basketball lies at the heart of the Riders Foundation and a number of sessions are being delivered at Satellite and Project Hub funded sessions across area. All part of a consistent pathway that leads to representing the Leicester Riders Basketball Club at a regional and national level. In align with developing players, the Foundation aims to also support the development of Coaches, Officials and Volunteers across a number of accredited courses.
