International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment. 广州美术学院（The Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts）位于广东省广州市，是经国家教育部批准成立的中国华南地区唯一一所高等美术学府，拥有硕士学位授予权，同时是国务院公布的首批艺术硕士（MFA）专业学位授予单位，入选国家大学生文化素质教育基地，中国八大美院之一 [1] 。学校是"广东省高校美术与设计教育专业委员会"会长单位、"广东省高等学校工业设计教学指导委员会"主任单位、广东省学校艺术教育活动（美术）培训基地和广东省美术与设计教育培训中心。 广州美术学院前身是中南美术专科学校，1953年经高等教育部批准创建于湖北武汉，时由中南文艺学院、华南人民文学艺术学院、广西省艺术专科学校等院校相关系科合并而成。1958年，学校南迁至广州，更名为广州美术学院并开始招收本科生；1981年，学校获得硕士学位授予权；2004年，学校在广州大学城建成新校区，形成"一校两区"办学格局。 截至2018年1月，广州美术学院有昌岗和大学城两个校区，总占地面积564亩，总建筑面积411884平方米；学校下设8个二级学院和1个思想政治理论课教学部；设有31个本科专业55个专业方向，已招生专业24个；有3个一级学科硕士点，3个硕士专业学位授权点；有专任教师400余人，其中在职教授67人，副教授156人；截至2017年9月底，学校有本科生5303人，硕士研究生721人，留学生16人，普通预科生1人，全日制在校生6041人.
